I first started out playing vinyl records back in 1986 at the organized places near school where kids like myself used to hang out, and it couldn´t have turned out anybetter than this. During those first years it took some effort to get to understand how it worked and the results were as mixed as the music turned out later on.However, in 1989-90 I got in touch with one of the hottest DJ:s during this era, in my hometown Södertälje, Sweden. He played at a place called Studio 10 (almost as hot as Studio 54…), later on called Liberty. After getting some “hands on help” as they say, I got my breakthrough and found my own “DJ-Liberty” so to speak.Since that day I´ve been on my own and is today a professional DJ, but ofcourse, there´s been a lot of sweat and tears.
During the years I´ve been working nightclubs all over Sweden. I got my gigs through Ema Telstar who was my primary employer for ten years, so there has been a lot of travelling. One contract in Austria built up a lot of strength, thirty days in a row from 10 p.m to 4 a.m every night! In 1995 I worked for the swedish travel agency Vingresor, at their own hotels, where I most of the time worked with entertainment shows. During that time I also played some records on different clubs at the location and there I had a lot of fun and good experiences.
My future ambition is as always to create a musical experience and just have a lot of fun. I love music and above all to mix it together so you, the audience, can listen, dance and enjoy during the time I´m given the opportunity to play for you. On this site I will also publish some mixes from time to time when I get the possibility and chance to do it.
